A Brief Introduction to Hongxing Chemical Rotary Kiln


The rotary kiln is one of the large and key equipments in the alumina production process. Its technical performance and operation situation largely determines the quality, productivity and cost of the products. Since the rotary kiln runs in the heavy-load, low-speed, high-temperature and dusty state run, most of the rotary kilns have different degree of bending or foundation displacement, which speeds up the wear of the drive system components. Since the 1970s, foreign countries have researched and developed of new low-speed and high-torque transmission, namely multi-point engagement flexible drive which is flexible multi drive. This gear is used for rotary kiln which can better solve the shortcomings of traditional transmission mode. The bending deformation of the rotary kiln has serious impact on the transmission. The length-diameter ratio of the rotary kiln is large and the rotary kiln runs at high temperatures. The barrel of the rotary kiln has different degree of bending and deformation due to the attrition of the riding wheel, axis of the riding wheel and the bearing bush.
The bending deformation of the barrel will result in the phenomenon of the "break wheel”. The sealing of the head of kiln and the end of the kiln will be damaged. Even more, the large gear tip clearance will be too small or too large, which will affect the normal drive. Corresponding measuring of the clearance of large gear tooth is after the shutdown of the machine. In fact, the bending deformation of the barrel when the kiln edge continuously operates, the change is also continuous. Therefore, the size of the tip clearance of the large gear is uncertain. At present, the transmission can not fundamentally solve the problem of the too small or too large clearance caused by the deformation of the kiln body. The flexible multi-gear can always maintains the parallelization of the final stage gear axis so that the tip clearance size will not be affected by the bending deformation of the kiln body. The features of the multi-point mesh flexible drive are multi-point engagement, suspending installation and flexible support. Parts of the low-speed transmissions of the chemical rotary are fixed on the spindle, while the motor and high-level transmissions are installed on the foundation.
