Master the Chinese language and ace the HSK with the Chinese HSK1 Pro app. The Chinese HSK1 application is an interactive game that will allow you to easily dominate the vocabulary level required by the official HSK. HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) or the Chinese Proficiency Test is an international standardized exam which tests and rates Chinese language proficiency. It assesses non-native Chinese speaker’s fluency in the Chinese language, and their ability to use it in their daily, academic and professional lives. Once you have launched the app, on the homescreen you have the following buttons: Characters, Play, Express yourself, and Progress.

Clicking on the “Characters” button will take you to the dictionary. It contains over 152 Chinese characters, and each character has the corresponding English meaning provided below, along with the proper pronunciation. Click on the speaker icon to listen to the word pronounced by a native speaker. You can also record your pronunciation for all content. Simply tap and press the character for a couple of seconds, and a new screen, containing all the available recording options will pop-up. Chinese HSK1 Pro contains 769 challenges spread across 5 different games. Games include: Multi choice, Fill the gap, Choose the tone, Order the sentence, and Practice strokes. 

In “Multi choice”, you have to pick the right English meaning for a given word, from the 4 options provided below. “Practice strokes’ is a fun way to learn writing Chinese characters. “Fill the gap”, and “Order the sentence” help with proper sentence formation, while “Choose the tone” tests your pronunciation skills. Click on the “Express yourself” button to view a comprehensive and varied list of everyday phrases and expression. They are divided into 9 topics: food, shopping, education, expression, family, places, numbers, weather and work. Here too, you can listen to the expression pronounced by a native speaker. You can also view the statistics on your progress by clicking the “Progress” button. Go to the help menu to learn about the recording options. Chinese HSK1 pro is a must have app, for those preparing for the HSK, or are simply interested in learning Chinese.
