The cage sand making machine is mainly used for the soft or semi-soft clay, which is used to manufacture the fine powder for brickmaking or cement.  The main sand making parts of the cage type sand making machine include two oppositely rotating cages. Each cage has a steel plate fixed on the hub. There are two to three laps of the steel bars which are perpendicular to the steel plate. Each shaft is equipped with the V-belt wheel. The motor drives the rotation of the cages in the same direction through the belt drive. The cage sand making machine uses the knock-on effect of the rotary steel rod and the materials for sand making. The materials from the hopper enter two relatively rotary cages. The materials first fall to the innermost circle of steel bars and suffer from the fierce impact of the steel bars for sand making. With the centrifugal force, the materials are thrown to the next round of the steel bars. When the materials fall on the second lap of the steel bars, the above sand making process will be continued. However, the strike direction of materials is opposite to the previous circle.
The materials after sand making should be sieved. The screen of 0.5 mm or 1.0 mm is generally used. In the production, the fineness and the back flow of the materials can be adjusted by controlling the feeding amount. If you do not need the very fine powder, the larger cage can be fixed. The cage sand making machine can also be used for crushing the mud cake in the mixed mud, you need only turn one cage at this time. In addition, you should timely clear the excess material bonding on the machine parts. The refractory plant generally selects the 1000 × 290 mm cage sand making machine. The moisture of the materials for sand making should not be more than 6% to 8% and the feeding particle size should not be larger than 30 mm. When the yield is relatively high, you can use the 1350 × 300 mm cage sand making machine.
The production capacity of the cage sand making machine is related to the speed of the cage, diameter, width, space of steel bars, hardness of the materials and other factors.
