The classifier is used to ensure the indicators of the quality of the finished products and reduce the rate of loss of processing to improve the utilization and reduce the cost of the products. The products can be graded according to the difference of the diameter. After the materials enter the conveyor belt, the smallest materials fall into the collection hopper from the spindle-shaped openings between the two adjacent rollers. The remaining materials are managed to neatly rank into a single layer into the classification section by the bedding material roll. The elevating roller which is also known as the intermediate roll of the hierarchical segment in the classification gradually increases in the particular rail so that the prismatic opening between the rollers magnify. However, the rollers can not do lifting movement.
Each opening has only one kind of material. When the outer diameter of the materials is suitable for the opening size, the materials will fall down. The materials which are larger than the opening size will stay in the roller and continue to move forward with the roller. The materials falling down are sent outside the machine by the conveyor belt. If the intermediate roller rises to the highest position, the materials which still can not fall down from the opening will fall into the back-end collector hopper for special handling. When the intermediate roll rises up to the highest position, the classification segment will be finished. Thereafter, the intermediate roll gradually decreased to the lowest position and it will be back to the hopper to repeat the above process. If the specifications of the raw material are changed, the travel distance of the intermediate rolls should be adjusted accordingly. To this end, there is lifting rail device which is composed of the worm, worm screw and linkage mechanism.
The rotary classifier is a kind of coarse crushing equipment in the metallurgical and mining applications. The rotary classifier has the advantages of continuous crushing, high production efficiency, high capacity, high hardness of the materials and reliable operation.
