Analysis about Crushing Teeth of Spiral Classifier
The crushing tooth is the key vulnerable part of the spiral classifier. The quality of the crushing teeth directly affects the production efficiency and service life of the spiral classifier. There are two kinds of crushing teeth made of two different materials, namely high manganese steel and alloy steel.
The crushing teeth production processing includes the integral casting molding, annealing, machining work, quenching and low-temperature tempering. Since the content of the carbon and alloying elements is very low, there will not be quenching crack phenomenon in the procedure of heat process. Therefore, the crushing tooth has good toughness and wear resistance.
The abrasion of the crushing tooth hood belongs to the abrasion of the milling materials. The abrasion of the crushing tooth brought by the grinding materials is related to the abrasiveness of the grinding materials. This performance depends on the relative hardness of the grinding materials and the crushing teeth. The tests have showed that when the hardness of the grinding materials is slightly lower or higher than the hardness of the material, the wear of the material is very small, which belongs to the soft abrasive wear. When the hardness of the grinding materials is much higher than the hardness of the material, the wear and tear of the material will be quite serious, which belongs to hard abrasive wear. Under the conditions for crushing coal, 30CrMnSi crushing tooth belongs to soft grinding materials wear and the Mn13 crushing tooth belongs to the hard grinding materials wear. Therefore, for coal crushing, the wear resistance of the 30CrMnSi crushing tooth is higher than the wear resistance of the Mn13 crushing tooth.
For crushing coal, when the feed size is not large and the feed material is full and even, the surface of the crushing will only have trace amounts of plastic deformation, which belongs to low-impact, low-stress work conditions. The teeth cap or the crushing teeth should be made of low-alloy steel.
According to different grouping process, the hydraulic classifier can be divided into the free-falling hydraulic classifier and interference sedimentation classifier. The mechanical classifier mainly uses the wet grinding closed loop. The grading operations are added in the grinding process to prevent the over crushing of the grinding products.
The crushing tooth of the spiral classifier should be made of high-quality material. In this way, the quality of the equipment can be ensured.
